“TREVISO MEDIEVALE” (“Medieval Treviso”) is the volume dedicated to the transformations of the “forma urbis” of Treviso during its evolution from a Roman municipality to a free municipality into a faithful stronghold of the Serenissima. Written by nine hands by prestigious connoisseurs of the medieval history of the city, the book tells the architectural evolution of the Tarvisium (later Tervisium) from the imperial age to the late Middle Ages. This work completes the trilogy of volumes dedicated to our Treviso, a jewel of art, architecture and culture at the gates of the Serenissima.
